Farm

The “Farm” is responsible for planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops used within the feedyard. They maintain and repair farm machinery and equipment, monitor crops for pests and diseases, and assist with irrigation and water management. Additionally, they keep farm buildings and work areas clean and organized performing maintenance tasks such as fence repair and painting.

Maintenance

Maintenance” ensures the cleanliness and efficiency of feedlot pens, performs routine fence maintenance, manages the composting system, maintains all equipment, and oversees water system upkeep. They operate a variety of tools and machinery, including dump trucks, loaders, welders, shovels, and more.

Feed Mill

The "Feed Mill" works with our nutritionist to efficiently mix proper rations, deliver feed to the designated cattle pens, and to complete the feeding process. They also manage the intake of commodities at the feedyard. Additionally, they focus on monitoring feed quality, maintaining cleanliness in the feeding area, and ensuring that all equipment is operating smoothly to enhance overall productivity and effectiveness.

Cowboys

“Cowboys” are responsible for horseback management of livestock, including treating sick or injured animals, sorting and moving cattle, processing incoming livestock, and maintaining health records. They ensure animal welfare and productivity through calm handling, clear communication, and a strong work ethic focused on safety and herd care

Office

The "Office" supports the feedyard by managing calls, emails, calendars, and documents, assisting with billing, payroll,
HR, and inventory, coordinating meetings and events, and promoting smooth communication across the team. Additional duties include weighing loads, maintaining contracts, and providing exceptional customer service.
